The Magic of Easteron March 5, 2013
Easter was one of my favourite holidays as a child. My parent always made it a special time by combining the secular and the religious traditions. Easter has changed a lot since my childhood days; the real meaning is still there, but as often happens as you grow older, the magic disappears. So, this year I have charged everyone at the Table Bay to bring back the enchantment of Easter that we experienced as children.
Sarah Prins our Public Relations Manager has come up with a wonderful theme to mark the Easter long weekend. Roald Dahl’s, “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”. And just like Charlie Bucket, young guests of The Table Bay, will be exposed to the delights of chocolate over the Easter holidays.
We have also put together an Easter package for families and couples who wish to spend time together in Cape Town at The Table Bay. If it’s just the two of you, why not take advantage of our Easter package for 2 adults sharing from R2 950 per room per night. The Easter Family Package includes accommodation for 2 adults and 2 children for only R3 450.00 per room per night plus breakfast, complimentary transfer from CT International Airport, and free transfers within a 5km radius of the hotel. Kids will have access to the Oscar Kids Club from 29 March to 1 April.
The Oscar Kids Club is being transformed into Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory. With Oompa Loompa’s, marshmallow madness and a few other surprises, kids can experience their own magical chocolate adventure at The Table Bay, with Charlie and his friends. Plus, they’ll also have the opportunity to find a special golden ticket hidden in one of the hundreds of Easter Eggs. The child that discovers the golden ticket will experience an unforgettable Penguin Encounter at the Two Oceans Aquarium. Together with a friend, the winner will enjoy an interactive meeting with three adorable rockhopper penguins, Roxy, Hopper and Bubbles. Senior Trainer, Hayley McLellan will be there to answer any questions and to make sure that this experience is extra special.
