Hello, Bonjour, Hola, Hallo, Cześć, नमस्ते, Ciao; The Table Bay Hotel is now proud to be able to greet our international guests in their home languages.
We are a part of the Leading Hotels of the World, with our staff acting as proud ambassadors for this title. The Concierge and Guest relations team can speak an impressive 15 languages between them, ensuring that our guests receive the correct information in a language that they are comfortable with.
Aside from the South African national English and Afrikaans languages, The Table Bay Hotel staff is fluent in French, German, Italian, Spanish and German. Other European visitors from Poland, Romania, Netherlands and Russia will also be greeted in their mother tongue when visiting The Table Bay. Having knowledge of these languages has proven to better equip staff members when it comes to dealing with guest queries, offering directions or giving advice on places to visit. Visitors from India speaking Hindi and Marathi can also chat to one of our staff members, who are fluent in their local languages as well as guests speaking Creole and Mandarin.
